Xbox Game Pass isn't just for console: the Ultimate subscription unlocks a catalog of hundreds of games on a Windows PC through the Xbox app, including new Microsoft releases on launch day. You can't pay for it directly from Russia, but you can have it activated on your account. Here's how to do it in 2026.
What's included in Game Pass Ultimate
- Game catalog for PC and Xbox — hundreds of games, including all new Xbox Game Studios titles from day one.
- EA Play — the Electronic Arts library: FC, Battlefield, Need for Speed, The Sims.
- Cloud gaming — play games without installing them on supported devices.
- Online multiplayer on console and discounts on buying games from the catalog.
There is also a separate PC Game Pass plan for PC only, but we set up Game Pass Ultimate — it covers both PC and console, and the price difference is small.
Which account you need
The subscription is linked to the Microsoft account you use to sign in to the Xbox app on your PC. Two options:
- Your existing account — we activate the subscription on it using your login details ("for an old account"). Suitable if your account's region is not Russia or you're ready to change it in Microsoft settings.
- New account — we create an account in the right region with an active subscription and give you access. Sign in to the Xbox app with it and play; saves sync through the Xbox cloud.
For self-activation, there are Game Pass codes — they also require an account from a suitable region.
How to order: step by step
- Open the Game Pass page, choose the term (1–12 months) and the option: old account, new account, or code.
- Pay by SBP transfer, with a Russian bank card, or from your site balance.
- Within 15–30 minutes during business hours, you'll receive the details: a connection confirmation or the login for a new account.
- On your PC, install the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store and sign in to the account with the subscription — the catalog will appear in the Game Pass tab.
Does it work in Russia
The Xbox app and downloading games from the catalog generally work in Russia without extra setup; the restrictions concern payment, and we take care of that. If a game won't launch for regional reasons, contact support — we'll suggest a solution or refund you under our guarantee.
Game Pass and buying Xbox games
