PlayStation Plus gives you online multiplayer, monthly games and cloud saves, and the Extra and Deluxe plans add a catalog of hundreds of games. PS Store doesn't work in Russia, and you can't subscribe on a Russia-region account. But you can on an account of any other region, and nothing stops you from playing from it on your console. Here's how to do it in 2026.
Which plan to choose
- Essential — online play, 2–3 games a month added to your collection, cloud saves, discounts.
- Extra — everything in Essential plus a catalog of several hundred PS4 and PS5 games.
- Deluxe — everything in Extra plus PS1–PS3 and PSP classics, and trial versions of new releases.
Term: 1, 3 or 12 months; the yearly option is almost always cheaper per month. The price depends on the region — in the card PS Plus you can see the price of each option in rubles.
Which region to use
The subscription is purchased in the PS Store of the account's region. Available regions: Turkey, CIS (UA), India, Poland, Indonesia and the USA. If you already have an account in one of them, choose it. If you only have a Russian account, there are two options:
- order a subscription to a new account — we will create an account of the required region with the subscription and give you access; on the console it can be set as primary, and the catalog games will be available to all profiles;
- create an account yourself and then order a subscription for it.
What you'll need
To order for your account, you need your login, password and two-factor backup codes — without them we can't sign in or pay for the subscription. The data is used only for the order; after completion you can change the password. Backup codes can be found in your PlayStation account security settings.
How to order: step by step
- Open the page for PS Plus subscription, choose the region, plan and term.
- Specify where to set it up: on your account or on a new one.
- Pay by SBP transfer, with a Russian bank card, or from your site balance.
- In 15–30 minutes during business hours, the operator will activate the subscription, and a notification will arrive by email and in Telegram.
Renewal and upgrade
Renewing a subscription is simply a new order for the same account: the new term is added to the current one. You can switch from Essential to Extra or Deluxe via the service PS Plus upgrade — Sony will recalculate the difference for the remaining period.
Common mistakes
- The subscription region doesn't match the account region — this won't work; the region is chosen based on the account.
- Auto-renewal of the old subscription in the same region isn't turned off — it's better to turn it off in advance.
- No backup codes — the order will be put on hold until you provide them.
What about Game Pass and EA Play?
For Xbox, the same process is used to order Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — for an existing or a new account. For PlayStation, a separate subscription is sold: EA Play with the Electronic Arts game library. All subscriptions are paid for with a Russian card or by SBP, and each comes with a warranty.
