The new Resident Evil has grossed over $300 million at the box office

The Resident Evil film directed by Zach Cregger has passed $300 million in worldwide box office. For the director himself, it is already the highest-grossing work of his career.

Analysts believe this is not the limit and forecast total box office of $450–500 million. If that happens, the film will beat the record of the entire franchise by a wide margin. It is currently held by Resident Evil: The Final Chapter with $312 million.

This is a good sign for Capcom: after a series of mixed film adaptations, the franchise's movie reboot has finally paid off.

Resident Evil 2 Remake can be played with a friend: a co-op mod is out

A mod has been released for Resident Evil 2 Remake that turns the campaign into a full two-player co-op.

Each player has their own inventory and weapons. If your partner goes down, you can pick them up. You're not limited to Leon and Claire: the roster also includes Ada, Hunk, Sherry and other characters.

Difficulty is adjustable, so you can make your playthrough either relaxed or hardcore. If you finished the remake solo long ago, this is a good reason to return to Raccoon City with a friend.
